Data concentrators are intermediary devices installed between the meter and the metering software infrastructure. These devices which accepts the meter reading data from the meters and sends it to the metering infrastructure in the most secured way and for some models through internet. It ensures that all the meter readings are submitted to the metering server properly without any fail. These devices are externally powered, which can also be powered with solar panels in suitable environment conditions. The different models support different capacities of meter reading storage. The Higher version can support up to 2000 simultaneous devices. The data is encrypted and is protected with keys to access the data. Some versions of our concentrators also have multiple day battery backup to help the system in case of power failures.
